Ground braking ceremony for Fokker Landing Gear in Helmond

On the 23rd of May, Fokker Landing Gear in Helmond officially started the construction of a new facility in Helmond, the Netherlands. Fokker Landing Gear is specialized in the design, development, manufacturing and maintenance of landing gears for Aircraft and Helicopters.

On its new location, the company has a working space of 11.000 square meters. Half of this space is under construction, the other half is an office building that has been purchased by Stork. Together with a representative of the city of Helmond, Bart Zuidhof, managing director of Fokker Landing Gear carried out the official ground braking ceremony. The total costs for the new facility and the purchase of the building, amount to approximately 15 millions of Euros.
