Naarden, 17th July 2006
The Dutch Fokker Aerospace Group group has signed an agreement with the Goodrich Corporation’s (NYSE: GR) Landing Gear division (USA) in the field of technology development for the application of load carrying PMC composites in landing gear systems. This agreement expresses the intention to apply the technology developed by Fokker Landing Gear (part of Fokker Aerospace Group) into a new generation of landing gear systems for military and commercial platforms. The use of advanced composites is a key factor to weight reduction and efficiency improvement in the (re)design of future and current landing gear systems.
