German Army NH90 TTH achieves NAHEMA Qualification

3rd April 2006

Fokker Aerostructures is pleased to announce the Qualification of the German Army NH90 Tactical Transport Helicopter - TGEA Variant. The award ceremony took place at NHindustries on Friday 31st March 2006 at the end of a ‘Review Executive Meeting’ where NAHEMA, a NATO Agency, officially granted the first Qualification to a NH90 TTH Variant.

This qualification is a significant step towards the entry into service of NH90 within the Armed Forces that have already selected it for their military requirements. NH90 Qualification is an essential milestone that, through a process of delta qualification, will lead to the Qualification of the others NH90 National Variants.

NH90 is a groundbreaking multi-role helicopter that applies the world’s most modern technologies and systems to the diverse requirements of military operators. To date, NH90 has been contracted by 11 Nations for 16 Armed Forces, has been selected by 3 additional Nations and is currently being assessed for selection by a number of other Countries.
