Gulfstream Aerospace “Top Performer“ Award for Fokker Aerostructures

The US aircraft manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation has named Fokker Aerostructures “Top Performer” in the Structures category for meeting all expectations of Gulfstream with respect to quality, reliability, delivery time and product/after market support during the year 2005. Fokker Aerostructures is since 1993 as a partner responsible for the design and manufacturing of the tail section of the GV series. The GV series from Gulfstream comprises three aircraft types, the original GV, the G500 and the G550. For the construction Fokker Aerostructures uses a combination of carbon and metal to achieve the ideal properties: low weight, high strength and excellent aerodynamics. Just one year ago in March 2005, Fokker Aerostructures also received the “Supplier of the Year Award” in the category Major Structures from aircraft manufacturer Boeing. |
