Fokker Landing Gear, certified to AS 9100 revision C
Helmond, March 15, 2011 - Fokker Landing Gear has been certified to the AS 9100 revision C, by Lloyd’s Register Nederland B.V. The AS 9100 standard is recognized world wide as the most important Quality Management System for aviation, defense and space manufacturers and represents the highest degree of quality and reliability. To achieve this level of certification, a series of rigorous audits over a period of several weeks have been performed across the entire organization.
Out of a total of approximately 13,800 companies worldwide that are certified against the AS 9100 revision B standard, only 38 companies have preceded Fokker Landing Gear in achieving the revision C certification. Fokker Landing Gear is among the very first in Europe.
For Fokker Landing Gear it is a great achievement to be among the first companies worldwide to achieve this level of certification. This performance is regarded as a direct result of the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and world class performance.
