Mr. Scott Whittaker – Managing Director Scott, a Marine Corps Veteran, completed his studies of Aviation Management at Southern Illinois University; and took a full time position at Delta Air Lines Inc. in Atlanta, GA. He started as airframe and power plant mechanic, and then worked in liaison engineering as the composite engineer and was later assigned as the shop foreman for Delta’s composite shop. Scott then was asked to run Delta’s engine maintenance production control where he received extensive lean training and successfully applied this knowledge. Scott was managing Delta’s component outside repair activity before accepting a position with Chromalloy Power Services Corp, in San Antonio, TX as Director of Materials. In 2005 Scott worked for AIRINC, currently Fokker Airinc, as Director Operations. Since 2007, Scott was appointed as V.P. Strategic Programs for North and South America at Fokker Services Inc. and later as V.P. Corporate Development for the business line Component MRO. He successfully completed his MBA degree in Aerospace from the University of Tennessee in 2009.
Mr. Frank Lapcheske - Director of Operations During his tenure in the aviation industry, Frank has serves in the United States Air Force, where through experience, he earned his Airframe and Powerplant license, and on to earn his Inspection Authorization in 2002. After a short stint in general aviation gaining valuable experience on Piper and Cessna aircraft, he was hired by Fokker Airinc as a mechanic and was in the Quality department for 7yrs as an inspector and director. He is currently in school part time working on his degree in mechanical engineering.
- Mr. Greg Guzman – Director Regional Sales
Greg has been with Fokker Airinc since 2001 years in Customer Service and now serves as Director Regional Sales. Greg’s expertise is in negotiating and marketing with both domestic and internationally based customers. Greg has negotiated many long term agreements for Fokker Airinc. Greg holds a BS Degree in International Business from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
- Mrs. Candi Wynn – Controller
Has been with Fokker Airinc since 2003. She brings to Fokker Airinc a strong background in management, communications, and accounting standards. In addition to her duties as Controller, Candi has implemented and maintains an employee recognition to improve overall morale. Candi graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors in Accounting and holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Additionally, she holds Associate Degrees (summa cum laude) both in Science and in Arts from Faulkner State University in BayMinette, AL. Future plans include finishing her Masters degree in Business and strengthening the accounting department’s contributions to Fokker Airinc.
- Mr. Travis Branch– Director of Quality Assurance
Travis has been with Fokker Airinc since 1999. Fokker Airinc hired Travis as a mechanic shortly after he earned his Airframe and Powerplant certificate through Wallace Community College. While attending Wallace Community College, Travis was employeed by Mobile Aerospace and Engineering as a structures mechanic. Prior to serving as Director of Quality Assurance, Travis has over 5 years experience in quality assurance at Fokker Airinc as the Quality Control Supervisor.
- Mr. Brent Trotter – Director of Technology
Brent joined Fokker Airinc in 2005. Brent is an aerospace engineer with over 17 years of aviation experience. Brent has an extensive background in landing gear, aircraft systems, and airline operations, as well as IT and ERP systems. While at Delta Airlines, Brent functioned as a senior engineer and a component maintenance analyst supporting Line, Hangar, Back Shop, and OSR maintenance.
- Mrs. Johnnie Miller- Human Resources/Administrative Manager
Johnnie Miller joined Fokker Airinc in March of 1997 as the Administrative Assistant to the owner. As Fokker Airinc grew she assumed additional responsibilities for Human Resources and other Administrative functions. In addition to the Human Resources responsibilities she also provides support for major customer proposals and marketing assistance as well as arranging all company travel. As part of her work she has been the primary contact for local and state community relations and political contacts. Before the hiring of a full time controller she also supervised the Accounts payable and accounts receivable personnel.
