Quality Management
Fokker’s Elmo’s Quality Management System is in compliance with the latest aerospace industry standards. Its global production sites in The Netherlands, China and Turkey are certified according to:
- AS9100B by KEMA Registered Quality inc., certificate number 130556.01 (since March 30, 2004), which is registered in the OASIS database.
- EASA (European Aviation & Safety Agency) Part-21 subpart G Production Organization Approval; reference number NL.21G.2308.
In addition to that Fokker Elmo in the Netherlands is an approved maintenance station / repair station according:
- EASA Part-145 (reference number NL.145.1308)
- FAA 14 CFR Part-145 (certificate number FEOY206X)
- TCCA (Canadian Civil Aviation Authority) CAR 573; (approval number 800-09).
Fokker Elmo follows the latest industry aerospace standards for implementation of its processes. The following standards are implemented:
- AS9102 for First Article Inspection,
- AS9103 Variation management process control.
Fokker has a Change Control Management system in place able to cope with complex and multiple changes. Change management is done according the EIA-649 Rules for Configuration management.
Next to a permanent in house Government Source Inspector Fokker Elmo has good experience with Delegated Source Inspection processes and holds this authority several customers. It incorporates trained staff with extensive experience on quality control.
The QA department itself is responsible for performing First Article Inspections and audits on processes, products and systems according to an annual audit plan. In addition this department is responsible for supplier quality assurance. Fokker Elmo uses a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) approach to identify process and product risks
